The Fairy Swing Festival is an indispensable folk game in the traditional Tet holiday of sincere farmers, which has been preserved and maintained by the people of Dien Hoa to this day.
The traditional Fairy Swing Festival in Dien Hoa Commune has been formed a long time ago. The Festival is not only a traditional festival of the people in Ngu Dien area, but also a special festival of Thua Thien Hue Province every Tet holiday.
After two years of disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fairy Swing Festival, which was held in Dien Hoa Commune in the Lunar New Year of the Cat, created a bustling and joyful atmosphere; connecting people in the commune; thereby, creating positive energy for an exciting new year ahead.
The festival this year includes three categories: men's singles, women's singles and mixed doubles, from nine participating units.
The Fairy Swing Festival contains the meanings of praying for peace and good harvest for the villagers. It is an occasion where young men and women show off their talents to conquer the heights, as the pinnacle in life and career, etc.
As coming to this traditional Fairy Swing Festival, visitors can also feel the sense of adventure and magic with the ao dai fluttering on the swing. In addition, the enthusiastic cheers of a large number of people and visitors created a peaceful, bustling and joyful scene.
