“Ao Dai - The rhythm of youth”

HNN.VN - On the evening of July 6th, at Nghinh Luong Pavilion, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports organized the artistic performance and flashmob event ‘Ao Dai - The Rhythm of Youth’. The program attracted large crowds of local residents, visitors, and hundreds of children.

Held in the heritage setting along the banks of the Perfume River, the event featured a series of artistic performances that combined the elegance of the traditional ao dai with contemporary music and choreography. The fusion of cultural heritage and modern artistic expression created a vibrant, youthful atmosphere, bringing the iconic ao dai closer to younger generations and visitors.

The highlight of the evening was a large-scale flashmob performed by hundreds of children dressed in traditional ao dai. Their synchronized dance created a colorful spectacle at Nghinh Luong Pavilion, conveying the enduring vitality of the ao-dai in modern life. Many local residents and tourists also joined the lively celebration, capturing memorable moments throughout the festival.

Through the program, the organizers aimed to further promote Hue's image as a city closely associated with the Ao Dai, honor the traditional craft of Ao Dai tailoring, foster pride in Vietnam's cultural identity, and add another highlight to the series of events celebrating Hue Ao Dai Festival 2026.
