Creation activities on the theme of COVID-19 pandemic prevention launched

HNN.VN - From August 3 to September 10, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations has launched literary and artistic creation activities on the theme of COVID-19 pandemic prevention.

The works are aimed to recognize the people's benevolence and affection in the days when the whole country joins hands to fight the pandemic; and the gratitude for the efforts and sacrifices of doctors, nurses, and the frontline forces against the pandemic; at the same time, calling on the community to raise the sense of responsibility, comply with the State's regulations, contribute to creating confidence in pushing back the pandemic.

The writer Ho Dang Thanh Ngoc, President of the Union of Literary and Arts Associations, said: “The COVID-19 pandemic situation is complicated throughout the country, especially in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces. In Thua Thien Hue, although the pandemic situation is still under control, there are still many potential risks. Faced with that fact, the Union of Literary and Arts Associations launches a campaign to create literature and art on the theme of COVID-19 pandemic prevention among the entire associations.” The Union of Literature and Arts Associations will receive works until September 10.

On this occasion, the Union of Literary and Arts Associations will also organize a literary and artistic creation camp on the theme of COVID-19 pandemic prevention. The creation camp has attracted the participation of 15 members in the fields of music, photography, and writing. The non-concentrated creation camp is set to be held from August 15 to 21. The participators freely take field trips and create their works.
