Under the theme “Dream of Dreams”, the exhibition officially opened to the public on the afternoon of March 20 at Boi Tran Garden space.
Set within a poetic setting, 32 paintings transport viewers into an artistic garden, which is not only a meeting point with nature, but also a convergence of the inner worlds of 8 prominent contemporary artists.
While master Tran Nguyen Dan showcases his masterful woodcut printing techniques through works such as “Drunken at the Village Market” and “The Legend of Thanh Giong”, evoking folk legends with bold colors, the painter Tran Van Mang, known as the “guardian” of the ancient town, preserves the quietness of Hue Ancient Capital through richly layered oil paintings like “Green Street,” “Sunlight Over the Village,” and “Winter.”
There, viewers also encounter a distinctly modern perspective and well-defined structure in the works of artist Phan Thanh Binh, whose “architecture of colors” is expressed through pieces such as “Eden Garden”, “Echo of Time”, and “Resonance”. Sharing the same panoramic vision, artist Le Huu Long guides viewers through layers of landscapes, from the majesty of “Green Imperial Palace” and “Fragrance of the Ngo Dong Tree” to the grandeur of “Layers of the Northwest”.

The romance of light and space is vividly captured by artist Tran Anh Huy through dynamic urban moments in works such as “Bach Dang Street After the Rain” and “Spring Flowers on the Street”. In contrast, artist Hoang Dang Khanh creates a serene, dreamlike world in pieces such as “Inner Citadel Moon” and “House on the Hill”. Meanwhile, artists Nguyen Vu Lan and Le Thua Hai leave a strong impression with their “excavations” of form and material on the canvas surface, showcased in works such as “Sediment”, “Interference”, and the triptych “Traces”.
The exhibition will be opened to viewers until March 23.
