Exhibition of materials, books, and photos on elections

HNN.VN - The exhibition, organized by Hue City Library, opened on the morning of March 11 as part of a series of activities aimed at widely promoting the significance and importance of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

Accordingly, the exhibition introduces to the public more than 350 books, along with numerous photos, paintings, and materials highlighting the history of the formation and development of the National Assembly of Vietnam through various terms; the role and importance of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly; the Constitution and laws on elections; President Ho Chi Minh with election work and the 1946 General Election…

On this occasion, Hue City Library also presents videos about the Election Day of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels on digital platform, and disseminates information on the list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and candidates for People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term in Hue City.

According to the leader of Hue City Library, the activity aims to effectively promote and utilize materials and photos of historical value, serving communication, research, and learning purposes... This contributes to raising awareness among officials, Party members, and people from all walks of life about citizens’ rights and duties in building the socialist rule-of-law State of Vietnam.

The exhibition is open to visitors until March 16 at 29A Le Quy Don Street, Thuan Hoa Ward.

The Hue-born artist has “distilled” his answer into ‘Folding a Sky’, an exhibition he painstakingly brought from Kim Son Hill to Ho Chi Minh City to present to the public in mid-July.

On the afternoon of August 9th, at Lieu Quan Hue Buddhist Cultural Centre, Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations, in collaboration with Lieu Quan Hue Buddhist Cultural Centre and the family of Nguyen Phan, a late painter, opened the exhibition ‘Nguyen Phan: Echoes of Returning Home’.
