The workshop aims at introducing products and solutions offered by the members of Quang Trung Software City Chain to departments, associations, and enterprises that need to apply Information Technology, etc. in Thua Thien Hue and neighboring provinces.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Binh said that with the strength of the province having achievements on e-government and smart urban services, Thua Thien Hue is actively implementing the plan of digital transformation. On July 31, 2020, the Provincial People’s Committee approved the province’s digital transformation program, at the same time established a Steering Committee for building e-government.
The workshop “Solutions to support enterprises, Information Technology parks, and localities in digital transformation” is a huge opportunity for the departments, agencies, and enterprises in the area, as well as the localities has an overview of Digital Transformation, which is a foundation for orienting the process of digital transformation in each locality. “This is also a chance for agencies and enterprises to access to methods and tools to help them speed up the digital transformation process faster and stronger, especially after the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic”, emphasized Mr. Binh.
Applying information technology in HueCIT
Recently, Thua Thien Hue has always been on top of leading localities in IT application index, as well as achieved some outstanding achievements in technology application such as winning “Asian most innovative smart cities” at the Telecom Asia Awards 2019 with the project of Thua Thien Hue Smart Administration Center Project; winning the title of Sao Khue 2020 in the field of Scene Reflection Solution (Hue-S application), and the latest achievement was winning the title “Agency and State with Excellent Digital Transformation” for Thua Thien Hue Center of Information Technology (Hue CIT) with the product of “Managing Software of Documents and Operations”.
In the framework of the workshop, in addition to the analysis, forecasting, and applicability of Digital Transformation in the areas such as public transport, education and training, as well as training for Thua Thien Hue province and the Central Region, the speakers also gave presentations the discussion related to technological solutions including “Building digital twins for the urban area using Digital Map Platform Map4D and Vr360”; “Introducing and Taking demo for smart Video Management Software (VMS), and Solution for Guard Control and Monitoring system (MiGuards)”; “AI Application in digital transformation to help organizations and enterprises in information management, etc.
