Thua Thien Hue: Training on state management of digital transformation

HNN.VN - On October 30, in Hue city, the Department of Industry and Trade of Thua Thien Hue coordinated with the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) to hold a training workshop on tools to support state management in digital transformation period.

Connecting “output” on online environment

At the conference, representatives of E-commerce Development Center - Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy presented the contents related to the state management in the digital transformation period such as: Say no to fake goods in e-commerce; Inspecting, examining and handling violations in e-commerce; Customer experience journey and Omni channels; Guiding the management of online public service systems and software for collecting and Online managing import and export information.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Hung Son - Deputy Director of Thua Thien Hue Department of Industry and Trade said that in recent years, the application of information technology and e-commerce in Thua Thien Hue has made many obvious advances and undergone relatively strong development.

Up to now, 100% of Party agencies and provincial specialized agencies, as well as 152 units of the People's Committees of districts, towns and Hue city have connected to the WAN and widely applied the quality management system according to TCVN 9001: 2008; enterprises in the area consider the application of e-commerce as one of the important strategies in the production and business process, affirming the brand of the unit.

However, this work still has some limitations such as: Enterprises restricting the investment in infrastructure and human resources, information management in state management activities among related units is not synchronized yet, including the information on licensing or certificates of business eligibility, information on import and export activities.

“Through this conference, we hope that the state management agencies will well deploy the application of softwares to achieve high efficiency in management. We also hope that businesses will catch the trend of e-commerce development in the industrial revolution 4.0 to apply to production and business activities with high results”, Mr. Son added.

Also at the conference, the delegates and businesses together exchanged and discussed the issues related to e-commerce and digital transformation period.
