Khanh Hoa impressed by Thua Thien Hue's digital transformation and relic preservation

HNN.VN - On July 17, within the framework of a working trip to Thua Thien Hue province, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province, led by Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, the Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, visited the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) and worked with the Department of Information and Communication of Thua Thien Hue on digital transformation and smart urban development.

At the working session, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province was informed by the leader of the Department of Information and Communications of Thua Thien Hue about some of the results in building and operating smart urban services and digital transformation, such as: field reporting, monitoring via camera sensors, environmental monitoring, monitoring and supporting for natural disasters and flood prevention, monitoring of public administrative services, and digital platforms including digital working, digital reporting, digital maps, and the Hue-S platform.

The two sides exchanged and shared experiences in digital transformation implementation, including regulations for the operation of smart urban services, processes, operations, infrastructure, and information security for supporting smart urban services and digital platforms, annual operating costs, human resources, as well as the advantages and challenges faced by the center in its operations, etc.

In his remarks at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh was very impressed and highly evaluated the achievements of Thua Thien Hue province in the field of digital transformation, especially the establishment and highly effective operation of the provincial Intelligent Operations Center (IOC).

Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh was particularly interested in the operation process of the smart urban services, the digital data which is deployed from the provincial to the commune levels, and the system of legal documents regulating the system's operating mechanism. The smart urban services and digital transformation model of Thua Thien Hue will be one of the models worth for Khanh Hoa province to learn from, and apply in a way that is suitable for local conditions.

On the same day, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province visited and learned about experience in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage for tourism development. The delegation paid a visit to The To Mieu (also known as The Mieu), the temple dedicated to the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty, and visited the newly restored Kien Trung Palace in Hue Citadel relic complex.
