The United States cooperates in development of a smart city in Thua Thien Hue

At the discussion, the delegates shared experiences about construction and development of smart cities such as technical information, technological solutions, the issues of planning strategies, administration of legal foundations, and practical experiences in deploying smart cities.
Through opinions shared at the discussion, Commercial Counselor of the US Commercial Service wishes the United States to learn more about specific issues in Thua Thien Hue, and pay the way for the US businesses to cooperate and support Thua Thien Hue in construction and development of a smart city.

Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong proposed some ways of cooperation such as providing information on smart city management through conferences; visiting and learning from deployed smart cities; building mechanisms and policies related to city development in association with the smart city management which is suitable to the current socio-economic development conditions in Thua Thien Hue.
