Thai corporations wish to cooperate and invest in the province

HNN.VN - On the morning of June 13, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong had a meeting and working session with Thai investors coming to explore investment opportunities in the province. The meeting was also participated by leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

This time, the investors coming to explore investment opportunities in the province include the AGR GROUP and the Sermsang Power Corporation. They are multi-industry corporations, which are the leading units in the power industry in Thailand. They wish to be facilitated by the province to explore and invest in the fields of renewable energy, and clean energy, which have been invested effectively by them in many countries, as well as some provinces and cities in Vietnam.

Vice Chairman Phan Quy Phuong welcomed the AGR GROUP and the Sermsang Power Corporation for their goodwill to explore investment in the province. He also said that these fields were also the province's development orientation of developing energy in the direction of green growth. The development perspective of the province is to progressively diversify energy supply sources, and power sources based on renewable energy sources that Thua Thien Hue has potential, especially, they are biomass sources, solar energy, wind power, and liquefied natural gas power, etc.

Currently, there are more than ten projects of Thai investors that are operating effectively in various fields in the province area. The provincial leaders are committed to being ready to create the most favorable conditions to accompany domestic and foreign businesses to research and seek investment opportunities in the province.
