Thua Thien Hue and Ubon Ratchathani sign a cooperation agreement in many fields

HNN.VN - At noon on November 19, the Joint Committee on bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand held its 4th meeting in online form. At this meeting, the two provinces of Thua Thien Hue and Ubon Ratchathani (Thailand) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish friendly and cooperative relations between the two provinces. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong presided at Hue bridge point.

At the meeting, representatives of Thua Thien Hue and Ubon Ratchathani provinces briefly informed each other about the socio-economic situation, traditions and strengths of each province. After discussion, leaders of the two provinces signed a MOU to establish friendly and cooperative relations between the two provinces.

The MOU emphasizes that the two sides, within the jurisdiction and provisions of the laws of each country, will cooperate to jointly promote prosperity and development on the basis of equality and mutual benefit; cooperate together in many fields, in accordance with the policies, domestic laws and international obligations of each Government.

Specifically, the two sides will exchange experiences in tourism development; invest in developing tourism combined with cuisine; introduce tourist destinations and products of the two sides. At the same time, the two sides will also cooperate in the field of education and training, develop exchange programs among universities, lecturers and students of the two sides; strengthen cooperation on investment and trade; conduct market research and promote investment in industrial parks and logistics services.
