Memorandum of Understanding on project of the Saemaul Pilot Village in Hue city signed

Hue city and the Saemaul Globalization Fund (Korea) completed the signing of the memorandum of understanding on online platform

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Vo Le Nhat said that on the occasion of a visit to and attending Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019, Mayor of Gyeongju city - Mr. Joo Nak Young gave Hue a lot of favor as he successfully called for funding for the Saemaul Pilot Village project in Hue city.

In response to the deep sentiment of the Mayor, the city has actively cooperated and supported the SGF to research and develop a memorandum of understanding for the Saemaul Pilot Village project to establish the necessary technical foundation to server the project implementation.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Vo Le Nhat and Mr. Kwak Busung signed a memorandum of understanding for the Saemaul Pilot Village project in Hue city with an expected implementation period of 5 years.

Some of the main contents of the MOU are to support and jointly train staff through training sessions and seminars; to support technique, finance and administration related to human resource development, to build infrastructure and develop production models in localities built as new-style rural areas...

Mr. Vo Le Nhat emphasized that Hue city commited to strictly implement the content of the agreement between the two sides, strengthen the direction of relevant units to coordinate with the Korean partner to implement project activities within the framework of the agreement to ensure items on schedule.

Saemaul Pilot Village project in Hue city will bring positive changes in the lives of people and community, contribute to the development of the new-style rural movement in Vietnam in general and in the locality in particular.
