Mahachulalongkorn University (Ayutthaya, Thailand) visits and works with Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue

HNN.VN - On February 27, a delegation from Mahachulalongkorn University (MCU, Ayutthaya, Thailand), led by Venerable Phramaha Pomchai Sirivaro (Assoc. Prof. Ph.D.) - Vice Rector, Head of the Philosophy Department, visited and worked with the Vietnam Buddhist Academy (VBU) in Hue.

Venerable Thich Nguyen Thanh (Ph.D.) - Member of the Executive Council, Deputy Head of the Central Education Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Permanent Deputy Rector and Head of the Training Department of the Academy, and members of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue welcomed and worked with the delegation.

Venerable Phramaha Pomchai Sirivaro expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful reception of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue, affirming that the delegation's visit and work aimed to further strengthen the close relationship between MCU University and the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue over the past years. At the same time, MCU University wished to introduce training programs of Bachelor (BA), Master (MA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) of the MCU, exchange teaching experience, educational management, and student exchange with the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue...

Ven. Thich Nguyen Thanh, on behalf of the VBU Executive Board, expressed his joy at welcoming the MCU delegation. He also affirmed that the MCU's visit and work once again strengthened the relationship between the two sides, as well as opened up opportunities for educational cooperation between the two Buddhist universities of the two countries.

Ven. Thich Nguyen Thanh also expressed his hope that through this visit and working session, the two units will have deeper discussions and exchanges on specific contents to realize the signing of training cooperation (MoU) and cultural exchange, student exchange in the earliest time, as well as to create opportunities to help students after graduation have many advantages to continue studying and doing in-depth research.
