Hue University ranked among Asia’s top 500 universities

HNN.VN - On November 27, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the ranking of Asia's top educational institutions in 2019-2020. This year, Vietnam has 8 universities listed in the QS ranking, including Hue University.

Specifically, these 8 universities include Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (ranked 143); Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ranked 147), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (ranked in the group 261th – 270th), Ton Duc Thang University (ranked 207), Can Tho University (ranked in the group 401th – 450th), and Duy Tan University, Hue University, Da Nang University (ranked in the group  451th – 500th).

Asia QS Organization ranks universities based on 10 criteria with different issues including Academic reputation (30%); Survey of employers’ viewpoints on the quality of graduates (20%); Faculty/student ratio (15%); Staff with PhD degree (5%); Ratio of papers per faculty (10%); Citations from published papers (10%); Proportion of international faculty (2.5%); Proportion of international students (2.5%) and Proportion of inbound exchange students (2.5%).
