Hue city to promote cooperation with the city of Dresden - Germany

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of March 11, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a meeting with Mr. Dirk Hilbert, Mayor of the City of Dresden (Federal Republic of Germany). Mr. Christian Berger, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam attended the meeting.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho introduced the socio-economic achievements of the province, and emphasized the potential and advantages of developing tourism, culture, education, health, and industry, etc., with the desire to promote investment attraction, and strengthen cooperation.

Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho hoped that the city of Dresden and Thua Thien Hue would have a close and sustainable relationship. In particular, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho proposed the city of Dresden to take care, do research and support programs and projects on science and technology, the management of conservation, museums, the development of culture, tourism, as well as promoting vocational training associated with investment, and job creation, etc.

At the working session, Mr. Dirk Hilber thanked the warm reception of the provincial leaders, and said that the city of Dresden and Thua Thien Hue had many similarities in culture and society, especially the environmental landscape, etc., and many advantages to develop tourism services. Mr. Dirk Hilber hoped that the two sides would continue to exchange and research to promote the cooperation and develop together in the coming time.
