Exchanging with the program “IKEBANA art of flower arrangement”
HNN.VN - Towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic relations (September 21, 1973 – September 21, 2023), on the morning of March 30, the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association in Thua Thien Hue collaborated with Thua Thien Hue College of Education organized an exchanging program called “IKEBANA art of flower arrangement”.

The program of IKEBANA flower arrangement was held under the guidance of Mr. Tran Quang Chau, a lecturer of Japanese IKEBANA. Sharing at the exchanging program, Mr. Tran Quang Chau informed that IKEBANA was an exquisite art of flower arrangement of Japanese people.
IKEBANA connects people with nature, it is the crystallization from the life philosophy of people and country of Japan. This is a typical cultural feature which is not only popular in the land of the rising sun but also a favorite subject of many experts around the world. The art of IKEBANA flower arrangement is placed on a par with painting and sculpture.
Through the exchanging program of IKEBANA art of flower arrangement, participants did not only learn about a new kind of arts but also got a chance to relax. Each work exuded the confidence and hope for future; pushing up the close-knit sentimental attachment between Vietnam and Japan.
From the guidance of Mr. Tran Quang Chau, Vietnamese and Japanese young people together arranged flowers following the art of IKEBANA.
