HNN.VN - On the afternoon of January 14, a group of students from the University of Education under Jeju National University - Korea together with students from Thuan Hoa high school - University of Education, Hue University exchanged and experienced the Vietnamese traditional Tet holiday with many fascinating activities.

Korean students did not only get the chance to join the exchange music performances to celebrate the Spring but also experienced and watched the students dressing up as calligraphers to write calligraphy. At the same time, they also participated in the activity of arranging candied fruits and cakes for Tet, besides various folk games such as blindfolded hitting the hanging clay pots, slow bike race, etc.

Korean students also exchanged and guided students from Thuan Hoa high school to play instruments and fly Korean kites.

Jinho Song, a Korean student shared: “This is the first time I have had such experiences. The Hue Ancient Capital of Vietnam is not only beautiful but also well-known for its friendly people and polite students. Experiencing the vibe of the Vietnamese Traditional New Year with the students makes me happy, delightful, and this may be the most wonderful and noteworthy in my life”.

According to the leaders of Thuan Hoa High school, the delegation of lecturers and students from the University of Education under Jeju National University - Korea is on their working and probation trip at the school in the second semester from January 9 to 14. This cultural exchanging trip between the two schools took place on the days near the Lunar New Year. Therefore, Thuan Hoa High school coordinated with the probation delegation of the University of Education under Jeju National University - Korea to hold the program “Tet of Love”, which consisted of various activities to exchange the traditional Tet holidays of both Vietnam and Korea. The folk games were also included to help the students have the chance to experience the special cultural activities of the two countries.
