Exploring AI in Artistic and Commercial Photography

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of April 7th, a seminar titled “Commercial Photography in the era of Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Sciences. The event was organized by the university in collaboration with the Thua Thien Hue Photography Association and sponsored by Yongnuo, a company specializing in photography equipment manufacturing.

The seminar introduced the ways to apply the open-source AI ComfyUI in commercial photography. Participants were guided on basic processes and how to control and creatively manipulate images according to their desires; listened to sharing sessions about AI and its applications in commercial photography, engaging in discussions about AI ComfyUI in the new era. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to experience various camera equipment, lenses, LED lights, etc., right at the seminar.

According to Dr. Phan Quoc Hai, Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication (FJC) at the University of Sciences, the FJC has recently organized many events to introduce knowledge and skills in photography to both students and lecturers as this is one of the main activities for journalists and communicators. “Thanks to events like these, lecturers and students of the FJC have gained a lot of knowledge and skills. This will be a great opportunity for students to accumulate experience and prepare for the future,” shared Dr. Hai.

In addition to students from the FJC, the seminar also welcomed veteran photographers and young photography enthusiasts.
