According to the summation of the Provincial People's Committee, it was the honor of the conference to be chaired by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc together with the attendance of more than 700 delegates in the main hall; and, it was broadcast live.
The conference evaluated the potential of regional tourism development, the connection ability to development, and simultaneously highlighted the limitations of regional links. At the same time, more than 30 petitions were submitted to the Government, the Prime Minister, the central Ministries and sectors to increase the tourism development capacity in the Central and Central Highland in the future.
At the conference, the decisions of investment policy of 18 projects were granted to 15 investors with a total registered capital of VND 28,123 billion. Also, within the framework of the conference, there were 4 strategic cooperation minutes, and hundreds of contacts between localities and businesses, businesses and businesses to look for opportunities to link business and investment.

Particularly for Thua Thien-Hue, the decisions of investment policy for 4 projects were issued with the registered capital of VND 13,072 billion; 4 strategic cooperation minutes were signed with Vietnam Travel and Marketing Transports JSC - Vietravel, Sovico Holding Group (VietJet, HDBank, Furama ...); FLC Group, Van Phu Invest Investment Joint Stock Company; 25 enterprises registered to contact and survey to seek investment opportunities in Thua Thien-Hue province in the coming time; 80 enterprises registered to survey tours and tourist attractions in the province.
Within the framework of the conference, there were also 3 important activities, including the meeting of the Central Key Economic Region, organizing a gala diner to announce "Hue - The Capital of Gastronomy" and organizing exhibition booths to promote tourism of 19 provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highland.
Speaking at the press conference, Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho said that the Conference for Tourism Development in Central and Central Highland was a national and international conference. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc was extremely impressed and judged that this was the most successful conference ever considered in all three criteria: scale and organization; participants in the conference and its contents; and recommendations with high quality. These were suitable to a conference to solve difficulties and find solutions to develop tourism in the Central and Central Highland.
