Introducing Hue on flights
HNN.VN - The Tourism Department informed that, the clip introducing Thua Thien Hue’s destinations has appeared for the first time on domestic and international flights, as well as on the website and fanpage of Vietnam Airlines.
The specific images of Hue will be introduced on flights of Vietnam Airlines
This activity aims to support in promoting Hue’s images to tourists, especially those who have not been to Hue yet.
Accordingly, the familiar and specific images of Hue such as the Imperial Citadel, Thien Mu pagoda, Dong Ba market, Truong Tien bridge, etc., will be introduced to domestic and international tourists by Vietnam Airlines. This kind of promotion is being directed by provincial tourism sector.
Previously, in 2017, the Provincial People’s Committee and Vietnam Airlines signed an agreement on the bilateral cooperative program to promote the development of tourism in Hue.
The provincial People Committee and Vietnam Airlines also coordinate to implement the plan on supporting the development, promoting the investment and tourism; and being accompanied on brand name promotion in the period of 2017 – 2021 through activities such as strengthening propaganda on the channels of two sides; holding tourist, cultural, artistic and sport events at the national and international level in locality; coordinating to support activities on investment promotion and tourism promotion of Hue in tourism fairs both at home and abroad, etc.
At present, Vietnam Airlines is exploring the direct flights to Hue from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with a frequency of 3 to 4 flights per day.
