From the beginning of 2022, Hue Monuments Conservation Center built and upgraded the e-ticket system on the web platform (towards integration on mobile app platform) to serve the management and operation of ticket sales of the center, deployed it at all ticketing points of the Complex of Hue Monuments. Hotels, tour operators and tourists can actively buy tickets online to visit the monuments.

Since November 2022, the center has conducted trials the e-ticket system at 4 locations: the Imperial Citadel, Tu Duc Tomb, Minh Mang Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb. The results show that the implementation of the e-ticket system has positive signs. At these 4 monuments, visitors can buy e-tickets on the software system and scan the QR code when entering the control gate.

Deploying smart tourism platforms and putting into use e-ticket is an effective solution to improve the management and administration of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, reducing troubles for visitors.

Visitors experiencing XR virtual reality service

XR virtual reality experience service is a form of augmented virtual reality, using Nreal Glass (XR) and AR Photo Kiosk service, developed from the VR virtual reality service “Finding the Lost Palace” - a VR service was previously implemented in the Imperial Citadel by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and IV COM Joint Stock Company.

Visitors wearing XR glasses can experience XR content that recognizes objects at specific locations during their tour of the Imperial Citadel on the basis of a personal virtual server, listens to voiceovers and sees images that recreate the history of the royal palace.

With the AR Photo Kiosk service, the device is placed in the VR Center and captured in AR form. This is a type of photography service that takes the image of Hue Imperial Citadel to be the background, combined with historical characters or insert effects, emoticons, then printed into photos or cards.

The convenience of the “e-ticket system” and the vivid visualization of the “XR virtual reality experience” promise to be new attractions for visitors to Hue heritage.
