Contest on photography and videography about Hue Tet

After its preliminary round, the 2026 Children’s painting contest based on books, themed ‘Drawing the Future with Books’, attracted over 350 paintings submitted by students aged 6 to 15 from across Hue City. Organized by Hue City Library, the contest selected 50 works from the entries for the final round, which was held on August 14.

On the afternoon of July 28, a working delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, led by Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, held a working session with Hue City People’s Committee on coordinating the implementation of the Project to build and promote the national brand ‘Vietnam Photography City’.

At the end of the academic year, when flamboyant trees begin to burst into fiery red blossoms, yearbook photography services also enter their busiest season, allowing students preserve their school memories.

On the afternoon of March 7, the art photography exhibition themed “Perspectives on heritage” offered the public an emotionally rich artistic space, featuring 90 works by photographers from Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. The event is part of a literature and arts exchange program closely following the traditional relationship of “Hanoi - Hue - Saigon”, which has been maintained since 2023.

On April 22, the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the City Department of Education and Training, organized the award ceremony and closing event for the “Global citizens, leading plastic reduction” contest.
