Making video clips contest launched to promote President Ho Chi Minh’s legacy in Thua Thien Hue

HNN.VN - In order to implement the project "Promoting the value of President Ho Chi Minh's relics in Thua Thien Hue for tourism development", Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue holds a contest of making video clips to promote President Ho Chi Minh’s legacy in Thua Thien Hue with the theme "Ho Chi Minh’s legacy in Hue - Living forever with time".

Contestants are individuals and groups of authors who are Vietnamese citizens living, working and studying in Thua Thien Hue province; as well as reporters, editors, collaborators working and collaborating at press agencies in the province.

The clips need to show historical, scientific and aesthetic values ​​of President Ho Chi Minh’s monuments in Thua Thien Hue; precious documents and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh; stories about the love of Uncle Ho for Thua Thien Hue and of Thua Thien Hue people for him; as well as heritages associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style.

Contest entries will be presented in the form of video clips, with the right topics and formats as prescribed by the Organizing Committee; expressing creativity, ideological content and good performance, with clear language and easy to understand.

The minimum length of clips is 2 minutes; the maximum, 5 minutes, with voiceovers, subtitles in Vietnamese or English. Each author or group of authors can submit up to 3 clips. The contest entries are new works, which have not won any awards at the provincial level or higher.

Authors send works to email address of Ho Chi Minh Museum of Thua Thien Hue at bthcmtthue@gmail.com. The time to receive entries lasts until August 15, 2021 and prizes will be awarded on September 2, 2021.

The contest aims to propagate and widely promote the system of memorial relics of President Ho Chi Minh in Hue to all classes of local people, domestic and international tourists. The products of the contest will become an effective means of propaganda in the mass media, contributing to promote Ho Chi Minh's heritage in association with tourism development.
