On the afternoon of December 10, Hue City Fine Arts Association, in collaboration with the University of Arts, Hue University, organized the opening ceremony of the Fine Arts Exhibition celebrating the 74th anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Traditional Day (December 10, 1951 - December 10, 2025). The 36th Hue City traditional boat racing - 2025 kicked off on the morning of September 2 on the North bank of the Huong River, about 300 meters from Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion towards Da Vien Bridge. The event was held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2), and it also served as a competitive sport for the 10th Hue City Sports Festival - 2026.

In 2020, when male officials and civil servants of the Department of Culture and Sports wore ao dai during working days and the weekly flag-raising ceremony, it immediately sparked controversy online. Then, it was not just the cultural sector, at important events, the provincial leaders (now Hue City) and intellectuals also began wearing ao dai. The appearance of the traditional ao dai for both men and women at cultural and educational events made the ceremonies more solemn, elegant, and impressive.
