As part of the 5th Regional Conference of Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) - Asia-Pacific Region, the discussion session on the afternoon of October 15th became one of the most notable highlights of the event. The exchange focused on policies, management experience, and solutions to improve quality of life in cities endowed with unique heritage values.

The opening ceremony of the 5th Organization of World Heritage Cities Asia-Pacific (OWHC-AP) Regional Conference took place on the afternoon of October 14 at Silk Path Hotel (Hue City).

From October 14 to 16, Hue City will host the 5th Organization of World Heritage Cities Asia-Pacific (OWHC-AP) Regional Conference with the theme “Quality of life with sustainable development of World Heritage Cities”.

The construction of Ring Road 3 will begin in September 2025, marking a major milestone in Hue City’s urban transportation infrastructure development strategy. Far more than a conventional road project, this route is seen as a catalyst for expanding urban space, creating strategic land reserves, attracting investment, and improving quality of life for local residents.

On the afternoon of July 21, Hue Central Hospital held a special discharge ceremony for four pediatric patients who had successfully undergone bone marrow transplants. Among them, three children with Thalassemia received allogeneic transplants, and one underwent the hospital’s 50th autologous transplant. Held from December 13 to 15, the 19th National Cardiovascular Congress, with the theme “Cardiology in the New Era: The Path to the World,” is hosted by Thua Thien Hue. This event is not only an opportunity for scientists to share knowledge and experience but also a chance to update ontechnical advancements and new solutions to reduce the disease burden and improve the quality of life for the public.
