The 5th OWHC-AP Conference is an important international event, affirming Hue's position in the global network of heritage cities, while contributing to enhancing Vietnam's prestige and role in the international arena in the field of conserving and promoting cultural heritage values in the context of increasing urbanization.
Taking place over three days (October 14-16), this year’s OWHC-AP Conference is themed “Livability for sustainable development of World Heritage Cities”, focusing on exchanging policies, urban management experience, and solutions to enhance the quality of life in cities that possess unique heritage values.

Hue’s hosting this OWHC-AP Conference affirms that Hue is a typical heritage city of Vietnam, a place that simultaneously preserves traditional cultural values and pioneers initiatives for conservation associated with sustainable development.
