As part of the Summer Festival - Hue Festival 2026, the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program will be held in June with a series of special activities. This is not only an opportunity to promote and spread the value of Lang Co Bay, but also to create distinctive tourism products, thereby stimulating tourism demand.

With its potential and advantages in natural resources, local culture, traditional craft villages, and agricultural and fishing livelihoods, regional zoning linked with eco-tourism and community-based tourism (CBT) development orientations will help promote sustainable tourism growth in Hue.

On the afternoon of May 8th, the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee held a working session with a delegation from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), led by Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, and President of VAST, to assess the implementation results of the 2025–2030 science and technology cooperation agreement between the two parties.

On the morning of May 8th, the Office of the City People’s Committee announced that in Kandy, Central Province of Sri Lanka, a high-level delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with leaders of the Central Province administration to discuss and promote cooperation opportunities in the coming period.

On April 26, the People’s Committee of Huong An Ward hosted a program titled “Huong An Rural Market” in 2026 under the theme “Mi xu mi som” (First sale of the day). The activity was held to promote local agricultural products, enhance the development of rural tourism, and spread traditional cultural values in the new development era.

To extensively promote national territorial sovereignty and spread the image of the nation’s borderlands, the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization has launched the 4th National art photo contest and exhibition themed “Pride in a border strip”.

Rolling out solutions to promote the bundling of tourism products into packages, linking tourism activities with the promotion and consumption of OCOP products and local specialties, while also aligning with the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values, is among the key tasks that the Prime Minister has requested the tourism sector to prioritize following the Lunar New Year holiday.

On the morning of March 25th, the Office of Hue City People’s Committee announced that, as part of the Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to the Russian Federation in Moscow, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with the Russian Federation Tourism Association to promote cooperation and tourism development between Hue City and Russia.

Now in its fifth year, Hue has been hosting the Four Seasons Festival (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). Instead of concentrating activities within a few peak days as in the past, the Hue Four Seasons Festival is implemented under a new model, featuring a continuous series of cultural, artistic and tourism events throughout the year to honor heritage, promote tourism and create new experiences for visitors.

The first Binh Dien Commune Tet Fair - 2026 is taking place from February 12 to 13. Beyond boosting trade, the fair is also a culturally rich event, and an opportunity to promote the people and land of Binh Dien to friends and visitors from near and far.
