In September 2026, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City and its member organizations proactively and effectively implemented a range of coordinated movements and activities, with a strong focus on grassroots communities. Social welfare initiatives also remained a notable highlight. At the launch ceremony for the 2026 peak month ‘For the Poor’ campaign, 85 organizations and individuals contributed or pledged more than VND 17 billion. The committee also coordinated efforts to replace temporary and dilapidated houses and presented hundreds of gifts and scholarships to disadvantaged students.

In addition, socio-political organizations stepped up digital transformation initiatives linked to people's daily lives through programs such as ‘Digital Literacy for All’, the movement to build drug-free communes and wards, the launch of the ‘Five No's, Three Cleans, Three Safeguards’ family model, and the continued implementation of the Green Sunday campaign.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai acknowledged and commended the proactive spirit and tangible results achieved by the Fatherland Front system and its affiliated organizations. To ensure the successful completion of October 2026's work agenda, the Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City called on Fatherland Front committees at all levels and socio-political organizations to focus on implementing several key groups of measures.

These measures include reviewing the system of targets and tasks for 2026 and adopting fundamental, decisive solutions to complete them promptly; developing coordination plans with Fatherland Front committees in communes and wards; and stepping up three major Fatherland Front campaigns: donating land to widen roads; promoting civilized practices at funerals; and ‘Buy Goods, Get Receipts - Protect Your Rights, Fulfil Your Responsibility to the Community’. The committee was also asked to organize a cultural week linked to the National Great Unity Festival, making thorough preparations for the 2026 festival in residential communities to ensure that celebrations are dignified, meaningful and foster a positive atmosphere among residents. In addition, it will accelerate digital transformation in management and operations and organize online training on periodic reporting procedures for Fatherland Front committees in communes and wards.

At the same time, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will continue to play an active role in site clearance. Resources will be mobilized to implement major target programs, particularly sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Efforts to build drug-free communes and wards by 2030 will also continue. The organizations will further work to improve the material and spiritual well-being of their members while proactively preparing plans for disaster prevention, search and rescue, and responding to extreme weather during the storm and rainy season.
