On the afternoon of October 9th, Hue Central Hospital, in coordination with Hue City Geriatrics Association, held the opening ceremony of the Third Hue Ancient Capital Geriatrics Scientific Conference 2026, themed ‘Disease Management in the Elderly: Early Prevention - Comprehensive Treatment’. The conference attracted nearly 300 delegates, including experts, scientists, doctors and healthcare professionals from hospitals, medical facilities and medical training institutions across the country.

On the first working day following the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 holiday, the number of patients seeking medical examination and treatment at healthcare facilities across Hue roses again. Several illnesses had increased, particularly among the elderly and patients with underlying conditions.

On the morning of February 6, a delegation from the Ministry of Health, led by Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen, visited and inspected the preparations to ensure medical services for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 at Hue Central Hospital. On October 11 and 12, the Cardiovascular Center - Hue Central Hospital organized a specialized workshop titled “Optimizing RF energy ablation in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias”. The event was part of a series of continuous medical education (CME) activities, aimed at enhancing professional capacity and standardizing cardiac electrophysiology skills for doctors both inside and outside the hospital.

This event aims to honor the role and contributions of intellectual women in medical sector, while also serving as a scientific forum to update advancements and share experiences in applying modern treatment methods and developing advanced medical techniques.
