On the evening of February 16 (the 29th day of the Lunar December), just before the sacred moment of Lunar New Year’s Eve welcoming the Binh Ngo Spring 2026, city leaders visited and extended New Year greetings to agencies, organizations, businesses, and personnel on duty.

On the afternoon of February 4, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a courtesy reception for a delegation from Champasak Province (Lao People’s Democratic Republic). The delegation visited, extended Tet greetings, and congratulated the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The delegation was led by Mr. Somboun Heuangvongsa, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Champasak Provincial Administration Committee.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on the evening of February 2, Hue City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City organized a Spring Reception to meet, congratulate, and express gratitude to diplomatic agencies, international organizations, investors, experts, and friends, who have partnered and cooperated with the locality over the past years.

On the afternoon of January 14, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee, received and held an official meeting with Ms. Dong Biyou, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Da Nang, along with a delegation from the Chinese Consulate General.

On the afternoon of November 4, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, visited, inspected, encouraged, and presented gifts to the forces participating in the task of overcoming the aftermath of floods in Hue City.

On the morning of November 1, on the occasion of 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of Hue University (1994 - 2024), Hue University held a meeting of leaders from various generations.
