On the afternoon of June 6th, Hue Cardiology Association held its Delegate Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, with the participation of leaders from Vietnam National Heart Association, Vietnam Society of Sleep Medicine, Vietnam Society of Interventional Cardiology, Vietnam Hypertension Society, and more than 450 delegates attending both in person and online.

On the morning of May 28 (the 12th day of the fourth lunar month of the Year of the Horse), a delegation of leaders from Hue City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of the City’s National Assembly Delegation, visited and extended greetings to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the city on the occasion of Vesak 2570 celebrations.

On May 16, leaders of Long Quang Commune promptly visited, encouraged residents, and deployed forces to help 4 households in Rung Ghenh Village re-roof their homes and clean up gardens damaged by the tornado.

On the afternoon of May 14, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Young Pioneer Council of Hue City organized a flower-offering ceremony, a merit-reporting ceremony to Uncle Ho, and a commendation program honoring outstanding teachers as Young Pioneer Team Leaders and exemplary children of the city in 2026.

On the morning of May 8th, the Office of the City People’s Committee announced that in Kandy, Central Province of Sri Lanka, a high-level delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with leaders of the Central Province administration to discuss and promote cooperation opportunities in the coming period.

On May 4, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, on behalf of the leadership and people of Hue City, sent a letter of appreciation to valued domestic and international visitors who chose Hue as their destination during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday and the holidays of Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers' Day (May 1). On the afternoon of April 24th, the city’s Tourism Association, together with representatives of tourism enterprises, held a reception and working session with a delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Consul General Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk. Leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs also attended the meeting.

Concluding the official visit to provinces in Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on the afternoon of April 12th, a delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, visited, held talks, and extended Bunpimay New Year 2026 greetings in Savannakhet Province. On the side of Savannakhet Province, the delegation was received by Mr. Daovone Xaysoulien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Government, along with leaders of relevant departments and sectors.

On the morning of March 31, Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan had a courtesy meeting with the working delegation of Daewon Group (South Korea), led by Mr. Cheun Eng Sik - Group’s Chairman.

On March 19th, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung, along with members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, including Head of the Internal Affairs Commission Dang Ngoc Tran, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, and leaders of relevant departments and sectors, held a working session to inspect the construction progress of boarding inter-level schools (primary and lower secondary) in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes.
