On the morning of May 27th, the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the University of Finance - Marketing’s Branch in Hue City.

A consultation workshop on finalizing policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was jointly organized on May 18th by the Agency for Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development under the Ministry of Finance and the International Labor Organization.

On the evening of May 15, the Department of Finance, in collaboration with the City Young Business Association, and Soc do Joint Stock Company - socsdo.vn e-commerce platform, organized a program titled “Unlocking Revenue Growth with Zalo - AI - CRM Ecosystem”. The program attracted the participation of over 100 businesses and household enterprises in the area.

On April 13, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision No. 866/QD-BGDDT to establish a branch of the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) in Hue City.

On the afternoon of March 5th, Hue City People's Committee held its regular press conference for February 2026. The event was chaired by Chief of the Office of the City People’s Committee Hoang Viet Cuong; Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Tran Cong Thich Vuong; and Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Huy Hien. ​

On the morning of January 28, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, in coordination with the Military Business Association and several military units, including the Department of Finance, Corps 15, and Factory Z113, organized a Tet gift-giving program for policy beneficiary families, poor and near-poor households, and those in difficult circumstances across the city on the occasion of the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.

On January 23rd, the Department of Finance, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Luxembourg Project Management Unit, the Technical Assistance Office of Project VIE/039, and Musa Pacta Joint Stock Company, organized a workshop to assess the results and development potential of the banana value chain in Hue City.

On the afternoon of December 31st, at the headquarters of State Treasury Region XIII, the finance - tax - treasury - customs sector inter-agency held a conference to close the state budget fiscal year 2025.

On October 1st, at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, held an online ceremony in response to the 2025 National Innovation Day under the theme “Innovation for All - Driving National Development”.

A training course on design thinking and innovation for businesses is being organized by the Department of Finance, in collaboration with the Business Association on September 19 and 20, 2025.
