On August 23, in Huong An and Hoa Chau wards, Hue City Women’s Union, in coordination with the Children of Viet Nam (COV), organized a program to provide livelihood models for single mothers and scholarships and learning support packages for children facing difficult circumstances in the two wards.

On August 15, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, in coordination with Hue University, held a ceremony to award scholarships to students facing difficult circumstances in the city.

In commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Agent Orange Disaster in Vietnam (August 10th, 1961 - August 10th, 2026), on August 10th, Hue City Military Command, in coordination with Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, relevant organizations, and the city's Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, organized a gift-giving program for Agent Orange victims facing particularly difficult circumstances in A Luoi 4 Commune.

On June 3, at Ly Tu Trong Park in Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City Department of Health, in coordination with the City’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, the Social Work and Child Protection Center, together with various units, organizations, and benefactors, organized the “Festival for children in special circumstances 2026”. The event aimed to provide meaningful encouragement to hundreds of children in difficult circumstances across the city on the occasion of the Action Month for Children 2026.

On June 1, on the occasion of International Children's Day, the Charity and Social Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, organized the Children’s Day program 2026 for children in difficult circumstances from ethnic minority communities.

Heading towards the 136th anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on the morning of May 16, the City Association for Promoting Education held the May 19 program to award scholarships to students facing difficult circumstances in the city area.

In the atmosphere of commemorating the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), and the 140th anniversary of International Workers' Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026), on the morning of April 27, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, and Head of the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Hue City.

From April 22 to 24, the Zhi Shan Foundation, in collaboration with the Social Work and Child Protection Center, and local authorities, organized scholarship award ceremonies for studious students overcoming difficulties across the city.

On the morning of March 1, Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam, a full-time member of the Economic and Financial Committee of the 15th National Assembly, visited and presented 100 gift packages to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in Phong Phu Ward.

On the morning of February 5, the City Red Cross Society hosted a central-level program titled “Humanitarian Tet” under the theme “Tet for Flood-Affected Communities”.
