From June 23rd to 27th, 2025 Reconstructive Surgery Week at Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, co-organized with ReSurge International (USA), officially concluded, leaving a significant professional impact. The event not only successfully carried out 10 surgeries but also contributed to the training and technology transfer for dozens of Vietnamese doctors and medical staff.

On June 23rd, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital officially launched a free reconstructive surgery program for patients with craniofacial deformities. The program, held from June 23rd to 27th, is part of the hospital’s Surgery Week and is conducted in collaboration with ReSurge International organization (USA).

For the past 10 years, Professor Dung Nguyen (Stanford University, US) has partnered in humanitarian plastic and aesthetic surgery programs with hospitals in Hue City, Vietnam. She has also made significant contributions to training, teaching, and transferring reconstructive, aesthetic, and microsurgery techniques to doctors across the country.

On March 31, Hue Dental Hospital announced that its Department of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, in collaboration with Resurge International (US), will provide free reconstructive surgery for 100 cases of congenital deformities.

On February 22, Hue Dental Hospital (under the Department of Health) collaborated with Resurge International, Stanford University (USA), and the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery to conduct screenings for patients from Hanoi, Long An, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and other locations. This program is part of the breast reconstruction surgery week for post-cancer patients.

On June 8, Hue Central Hospital shared that in a cooperation program with the SmileTrain charity organization (USA), the Odonto-Stomatology Center will provide comprehensive examination, consultation and reconstructive - cosmetic surgeries for children with cleft lip and cleft palate.

On May 15, Hue Dental Hospital in collaboration with ReSurge International (USA) and professors, doctors from The Buncke Clinic San Francisco organized screening for patients with hand deformities.
