Free reconstructive surgery for 100 cases of congenital deformities

HNN.VN - On March 31, Hue Dental Hospital announced that its Department of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, in collaboration with Resurge International (US), will provide free reconstructive surgery for 100 cases of congenital deformities.

Eligible patients include individuals from across the country with jaw and facial asymmetry (protruding jaw, misaligned jaw, underbite, facial asymmetry); sequelae of cleft lip and palate deformities of all ages (lip scars, palatal fistulas, alveolar bone defects); and other craniofacial deformities. In March 2025, Hue Dental Hospital, in collaboration with Phu Loc Medical Center, conducted screenings for 40 patients and selected 22 individuals for upcoming surgeries.

According to the plan, Hue Dental Hospital will determine surgical indications, consult with experts from the United States, and arrange schedule for free surgeries for patients registered in the program.
