Adjusting the planning of Hue City for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, is critically necessary in order to shape the spatial development organization model and fully utilize the city’s potential and advantages.

On the morning of November 25, the Family Planning Association of Hue City held a conference to launch the Respond Project - a project aimed at enhancing access to reproductive and sexual health (RSH/SH) services and implementing new service delivery mechanisms for the community.

This is considered an important legal basis to implement sub-zone planning projects, urban embellishment, and attracting strategic investment, gradually transforming the economic zone into the southern development hub of Hue City.

On July 11th, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee of Luxembourg Projects to review project progress and provide directions and planning for the upcoming period. Co-chairing the meeting was Thomas Lammar, Temporary Representative of the Embassy of Luxembourg in Laos.

On June 23, the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association (VUPDA) had just held the award ceremony for the 4th National Urban Planning Awards.

After more than four years of planning, preparation, and dedicated passion, Hue Culinary Association was officially launched on the evening of May 28. The initiative aims to build and elevate the culinary culture of Hue City, living up to its reputation as the “Culinary Capital of Vietnam.”

Allocating resources to develop urban space in lagoon and seaside areas; investing in Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone; clarifying the shape of a modern Hue City, etc., are some suggestions from leading experts on planning, architecture, urbanization, economy, and so on, at the conference organized by the Provincial People's Committee on the afternoon of April 1st to collect opinions on the Urban Master Plan of Thua Thien Hue to 2045, with a vision to 2065.
