On January 15th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH), in collaboration with the Charity and Social Affairs Committee of Hue City Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Hue City Young Doctors Association, and other benefactors, organized the “Loving Spring” program at the “Children's Space” of the Pediatrics Center.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long recently signed a decision approving the plan to implement the healthcare network development strategy for the 2021- 2030 period, prioritizing the development of six hospitals to meet international standards, including Hue Central Hospital (HCH). With a 130-year tradition, Hue Central Hospital is seizing numerous development opportunities. On the afternoon of January 6, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) reported that they had performed a rigid esophagoscopy to remove a sharp-pointed piece of pig bone for a 26 year-old man. This complicated emergency case required the quick, precise, and skillful intervention of the medical team.

On the evening of November 5th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) held an inauguration ceremony for the new “Space for Kids 2” play area on the fourth floor of its Pediatric Center.

The donated organ from a 65-year-old woman, who was relatively lightweight from Hai Duong; the time of cold ischemia during transport across Vietnam was minimized; and the need to dissect the entire heart and major blood vessels before transplantation... These challenges were overcome by the medical team at Hue Central Hospital (HCH), bringing life to a patient with end-stage heart failure.

On the afternoon of June 6, with the authorization of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directors of Hue Central Hospital (HCH) presented Commendation Certificates to 2 doctors: Kenneth D. Montgomery, President and Founder of Orthonations (USA), and Matthew Teo S Mendez-Zfass, Co-founder of Orthonations.
