On the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Border Guard (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2026) and the 37th anniversary of the All People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2026), on the morning of March 3, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, visited and congratulated the Command of the City Border Guard.

During the day and evening of February 4, at A Luoi 3 Commune, the City Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and local authorities, organized the program “Border Guard Spring - Warming the Hearts of Border Communities” on the occasion of Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

On February 2, the Command of Hue City Border Guard welcomed a delegation from Sekong Provincial Police of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, led by Colonel Khamkhang Thongsa Vat, Deputy Director of Sekong Provincial Police, on a Tet courtesy visit on the occasion of Vietnam’s traditional Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

On the morning of January 30, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, in coordination with the City Party’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization and the city Department of Education and Training, organized the city-level “I Love Homeland’s Seas and Islands” contest for the 2025-2026 academic year.

On the afternoon of January 29, as part of the contest “I Love My Homeland’s Seas and Islands” for the 2025-2026 academic year, the City Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education and Mass Mobilization, in coordination with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, organized a working delegation to visit and present Tet gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in My Thuong, Phu Ho, and Thanh Thuy wards and communes.

On the afternoon of December 14th, at the People’s Committee of A Luoi 5 Commune, the City Border Guard Command, in coordination with its partner units, organized a gift-giving program to support people facing difficult circumstances and those affected by floods.

On the afternoon of December 9, in Hue City, the Border Guard Commands of three provinces and cities: Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Ngai (Vietnam), held the 19th annual talks in 2025 with the Military Command of Sekong Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic).

On the afternoon of November 16, the City Civil Defense Command issued an order to regulate the operation of the two hydropower reservoirs, Binh Dien and Huong Dien, in response to heavy rain.

On the morning of November 6th, at the Forward Command Headquarters located at the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee, chaired a hybrid (in-person and online) meeting to urgently implement measures to respond to Storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) with the provinces and cities of Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa.

On the afternoon of November 4, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, visited, inspected, encouraged, and presented gifts to the forces participating in the task of overcoming the aftermath of floods in Hue City.
