Over the National Day (September 2) holiday, Hue welcomed a large number of visitors from near and far, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere. From the Imperial Citadel and heritage sites to scenic spots, craft villages, and community-based tourism destinations, visitors can be seen sightseeing, experiencing local activities, posing for check-in photos, and capturing memorable moments on their journey to discover the Ancient Capital.

On the evening of August 24, Huong Giang Poetry Club held a poetry program celebrating the 81st anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026), drawing a large number of club members and poetry enthusiasts.

The first Kim Tra Ward Community Run 2026 opened on the morning of August 16, attracting more than 1,500 runners, along with a large number of officials, union members and local residents.

Held under the theme “Flow of Heritage”, the first O Ly Artshow officially opened on the evening of June 6 at Hue Book and Cultural Space (23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward), on the banks of the Perfume River, attracting the participation of a large number of artists and art enthusiasts.

On May 6, the University of Sciences, Hue University, held an opening ceremony for the 2026 HUSC Student Volleyball Tournament in a lively and energetic atmosphere, drawing large numbers of students, lecturers, and staff members.

On the morning of May 3, at the University of Sciences, a talk show themed “Hue Singing (Ca Hue) with Hue students” took place in a lively atmosphere, attracting a large number of students.

On April 29th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training organized the primary-level STEM Festival for the 2025-2026 school year, attracting a large number of students and teachers. ​

On April 26, at the Ethnic Cultural House of Khe Tre Commune, the program “Khe Tre Highland Market - First Session of 2026” took place under the theme “A Return to the Roots”, drawing large numbers of residents and visitors. This marked the second market session held by Khe Tre Commune since its administrative merger, further affirming its direction of linking economic development with the preservation and promotion of the traditional cultural values of the Co Tu ethnic community.

On April 25, Phong Dinh Ward organized the “Old Scent of the Ancient Village” Festival, featuring a variety of unique cultural and artistic activities that attracted a large number of locals and visitors to visit and experience.
