The construction of Ring Road 3 will begin in September 2025, marking a major milestone in Hue City’s urban transportation infrastructure development strategy. Far more than a conventional road project, this route is seen as a catalyst for expanding urban space, creating strategic land reserves, attracting investment, and improving quality of life for local residents.

This is considered an important legal basis to implement sub-zone planning projects, urban embellishment, and attracting strategic investment, gradually transforming the economic zone into the southern development hub of Hue City.

In addition to historical sites and beautiful landscapes, shopping streets, culinary quarters, and other distinctive urban areas are essential factors contributing to the appeal and revenue of the tourism industry in many countries.

To develop the city towards the sea and foster regional links, Hue City has, in addition to effectively implementing its master plans, prioritized attracting and investing in major projects to complete its infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, from central urban areas to satellite urban areas.

On June 23, the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association (VUPDA) had just held the award ceremony for the 4th National Urban Planning Awards.

On May 27th, Cotana Capital Real Estate Investment and Development Joint Stock Company held the inauguration and handover ceremony of the W2 - West Sky apartment building, part of phase 2 of the Thuy Van Complex, located in Zone B of the An Van Duong new urban area (Ecogarden), Thuy Van Ward, Thuan Hoa District.

Numerous riverside walking paths along the Perfume and Nhu Y rivers have been and are being invested in and constructed. These not only enhance the urban aesthetics of the city but also serve as key highlights for tourism development.

On May 10th, Hue - Urban Plastic Reduction in Central Vietnam Project (TVA Project), in coordination with the Department of Tourism and People's Committee of Thuy Thanh Commune (Huong Thuy Town), held the launch ceremony for the low-plastic tourism site at Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge.

With more than 25 years of collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Prof. Satoh Shigeru, a leading expert in the field of landscape study and urban planning at Institute of Urban and Regional Studies, Waseda University in Japan, has made many interesting discoveries about the mountain-water landscape in Hue. The Hue Museum of Fine Arts, in collaboration with A Luoi District People’s Committee and Hanoi Urban Sketching Group, launched the “A Luoi traditional art” creation program on March 29th.
