On September 19th, the Immigration Management Division of Hue City Police, in coordination with Kim Long Ward Police, returned a passport and belongings accidentally lost during a sightseeing trip to tourist Klimov Pavel (born 1973, Russian nationality).

Hue City has recently become the starting point for a campaign to strengthen the implementation of a smoke-free environment in restaurants, hotels, and public attractions. On the morning of September 4th, the Department of Tourism announced statistics on visitor arrivals to Hue in the first eight months of 2025. Notably, France topped the international tourist market to Hue with nearly 64.200 tourists during the period, accounting for 13,5% of the city’s international tourist arrivals.

This year’s National Day holiday lasts four days, and many tourists have chosen Hue as their destination to explore, discover, and experience. The lively atmosphere at local attractions and tourist sites has left unforgettable impressions on visitors from near and far.

From August 30 to September 1, 2025 (the 8th, 9th, and 10th days of the Lunar July), tourists and local people will enjoy free entrance to Hue Nam relic (Hon Chen Temple) during Hue Nam Temple Festival.

On the afternoon of August 22nd, information from the Department of Tourism indicated that the number of visitors to Hue during this year’s September 2nd holiday (National Day) is forecast to increase sharply, with an estimated 196,000 arrivals.

Hue culture with its typical characteristics of the land is portrayed through many unique cultural values such as cuisine, clothing, garden house architecture, education, music, theater, language, and poetry. These values have become great potential for Hue to become an important tourist center of Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Slow travel is emerging as a popular trend among many tourists. With its rich natural landscape, deep cultural and heritage roots, traditional way of life, and the unique warmth of its people, Hue holds many advantages for developing this form of tourism. However, to truly develop slow travel, Hue still has much work to do.
