On the evening of March 21st, Saigon Morin Hue Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to commemorate the 124th anniversary of the founding of Saigon Morin Hue Hotel. Attending the celebration were members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City; and Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Secretary of Thuan Hoa District Party Committee.

With the belief that scientific research must be practical and embraced by the people, each project led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Bich Phuong is a product closely tied to farmers and businesses. Many of her scientific topics and projects that benefits the people have brought her prestigious awards.

On March 12, Hue Central Hospital announced that the 15th patient to receive a heart transplant across Vietnam has recovered. This was a complex transplant case, making the surgical procedure and post-operative care quite challenging for the doctors and medical staff.

“Books are an endless source of inspiration that help many people start running.” That was the main idea of the discussion named Books and Running, which took place at Hue Book and Culture Space on the morning of March 16th.

On the morning of March 14, Hue City People’s Committee held a conference titled “Reports on the results of the survey to identify issues and solutions for drainage and wastewater treatment in Hue City”. On March 13, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Poshitha Perera, along with a delegation from the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka (BPUSL), led by the Most Venerable, Professor Neluwe Sumanawansa Thero, visited, held discussions, and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue.
