On August 26, a ceremony was held to sign the twinning regulation between Hong Van Border Guard Station, Hue City Border Guard Command (Vietnam), and Border Guard Company 514, Salavan Provincial Military Command (Lao People’s Democratic Republic) in A Luoi 1 Commune.

On the afternoon of August 26, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, Huong Giang Poetry Association of Hue City held a poetry and music program to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

On August 24, the City Military Command directed Regiment 6 to deploy 100 officers and soldiers along with vehicles to grassroots areas to help people brace for Typhoon No. 5 (Kajiki). On the morning of August 22, in Hue City, Kinh Do Specialty Joint Stock Company in cooperation with Hue One Food Joint Stock Company held a ceremony of shipping the first container of Hue cakes to the U.S. market.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), as well as the celebration of the 17th Party Congress of Hue City, term 2025 – 2030, on the morning of August 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 4 technical infrastructure projects for relocation areas and cemeteries to support land clearance for the high-speed rail project along the North-South route passing through Hue City.

On the morning of August 18, the People's Committee of Phu Loc Commune, in collaboration with Hue City Department of Health and a sponsoring unit, launched a safe swimming class for children aged 6 to 15. The class attracted 300 participating students, divided into 15 groups.

On August 18, the Women’s Union of Dan Dien Commune in collaboration with Hue Hearts Fund held a ceremony to award scholarships to students overcoming difficult circumstances.
