This activity was organized by Hue Central Hospital within the framework of a scientific seminar celebrating International Nurses Day (May 12) under the theme “Professional communication in digital transformation and hospital quality”. The event aimed to update knowledge, enhance communication skills, management capacity, and behavioral culture in a modern healthcare environment.

On the afternoon of May 8th, the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee held a working session with a delegation from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), led by Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, and President of VAST, to assess the implementation results of the 2025–2030 science and technology cooperation agreement between the two parties.

On the morning of May 8th, the Office of the City People’s Committee announced that in Kandy, Central Province of Sri Lanka, a high-level delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with leaders of the Central Province administration to discuss and promote cooperation opportunities in the coming period.

The “Surgical Patient Care” training course for nurses and midwives from across the hospital and related healthcare facilities is taking place from May 6 to 15. The program aims to update and standardize knowledge and skills in caring for surgical patients, while also enhancing the professional capacity of healthcare workers.

The 3rd HTA Group Cup Football Tournament – 2026 kicked off on the afternoon of May 7 at Green City Stadium (My Thuong Ward, Hue City). Beyond serving as a healthy sporting playground, the event also provides an opportunity for participating organizations to demonstrate their social responsibility toward the community.

On May 7, the University of Law, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor’s degrees to 821 full-time students in the 46th cohort majoring in Law and Economic Law.

On the afternoon of May 5th in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a working session with Hue City People’s Committee on the development of culture, sports, and tourism, as well as the preservation and promotion of heritage values.

On May 6, the University of Sciences, Hue University, held an opening ceremony for the 2026 HUSC Student Volleyball Tournament in a lively and energetic atmosphere, drawing large numbers of students, lecturers, and staff members.

Nearly 200 high school students took part in an “outdoor lesson” right within a heritage space, where historical knowledge was accessed through games, challenges, and hands-on experience, making it more vivid and easier to remember.

On May 5, following the directives of the City People’s Committee and in line with Resolution 55/2025/NQ-HĐND, Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced a pilot program to verify eligibility for the beneficiaries of reduced heritage entrance fees via the e-ticketing system.
