Many craft villages have crossed the boundary of "self-sufficiency" and successfully commercialized their products. More specially, the famous craft villages of Thua Thien Hue can also develop tourism.

On the afternoon of November 6, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting with Ms. Susan Burns, US Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ranking first and second in the province, alongside the appearance of many excellent martial arts students, Phong Dien District has been known as the "cradle" of Taekwondo in Thua Thien Hue.

Thua Thien Hue wishes to make a practical contribution to the content and agenda, introducing efforts of the province in providing solutions and policies to support businesses and citizens, diversifying products, and enhancing digital transformation in socio-economic fields...

The two sides will coordinate to organize festival activities, cultural exchanges, sports, art performances, displays and exhibitions to celebrate major holidays and important events in the two localities, thereby promoting the culture and images of theirs.

To reach sustainable tourism development, running towards green tourism is indispensable. Thua Thien Hue has special strengths of cultural, historical, and landscape, as well as environmental resources to develop tourism; and, carrying out cooperation to develop green tourism is one of the goals.

On October 23, three provinces and city, including: Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Thua Thien Hue, coordinated with the Malaysia - Vietnam Friendship Association to organize a tourism introduction program at the World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), Malaysia.

Journeys in Hue (JiH) is a group of young enthusiasts dedicated to promoting Hue through social media, viewing it “through the lens of Hue people”. In an interview with Thua Thien Hue Weekly, Le Duc Hoang, the group's representative, stated, “JiH always cherishes the desire to contribute its small part to the development of Hue tourism.”

Since the opening of Terminal 2 at Phu Bai International Airport in April 2023, Thua Thien Hue has been able to operate international routes, though primarily in the form of charter flights. Developing these into regular commercial flights with stable frequency requires time and appropriate solutions.

“Digital transformation, new technologies to support preservation and festivals” was the theme of the Conference on Connecting Reality and Digital in Thua Thien Hue Province. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Association for Information Processing, and Hue Center for Information and Technology (HueCIT) on October 12th. This conference was one of the practical initiatives in celebration of National Digital Transformation Day.
