On December 20th, the Provincial Employment Service Center, in collaboration with the Action to the Community Development Center (ACDC), organized a job fair for people with disabilities (PWD) under the theme “Opportunities for Everyone”. This event is part of the Inclusion 1 project, funded by USAID, which aims to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities in areas heavily affected by Agent Orange during the war.

A large number of soldiers from the armed forces and young people in Hue City attended the film screenings to watch films and documentaries focused on the themes of the army and soldiers, as part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).

On the afternoon of December 18, a National Scientific Conference themed “Promoting the value of Hue traditional music in cultural and tourism development” took place at Saigon Morin Hotel. The conference was jointly organized by Thua Thien Hue Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and relevant agencies.

Held from December 13 to 15, the 19th National Cardiovascular Congress, with the theme “Cardiology in the New Era: The Path to the World,” is hosted by Thua Thien Hue. This event is not only an opportunity for scientists to share knowledge and experience but also a chance to update ontechnical advancements and new solutions to reduce the disease burden and improve the quality of life for the public.

On December 14, the 19th National Congress of Cardiology officially commenced, attracting 2,200 delegates and members from both domestic and international locations. With the theme “Cardiology in the New Era: A Pathway to the World,” the congress features numerous activities, and lasted until December 15.

“Aside from the theme of Hue's cultural heritage, what impresses and moves me most while creating artistic photographs in this land is its people. Hue's people are simple, rustic, and have their identity,” shared photographer Hoang Quoc Vinh (born in 1986, Gia Lai), who was recently honored with an award for the outstanding artistic work about Hue for his photo collection “ Complex of Hue Monuments”, in an interview with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

The photo exhibition themed “Life of the lotus” by Nguyen Khoa Huy, the photographer, is being displayed at Hue City Center for Culture, Information and Sports (23 - 25 Le Loi Street), from November 26 to December 10, 2024.

On December 6, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University kicked off the 7th Hue Science Festival with the theme “Cooperation for community health” and the 1st International Biomedicine Conference, along with the inauguration of the Institute of Biomedicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

That is the theme of an exhibition jointly organized by Thua Thien Hue Museum of History and Ho Chi Minh City Museum. The exhibition opened on the morning of November 29th at Ho Chi Minh City Museum (65 Ly Tu Trong Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
