On spring days, Hue is vibrant and bright with the lush green shoots of trees and leaves. Through the window, amidst the canopy of trees, and on the leaves adorned with dewdrops, little birds are showing off their beauty in the warm spring air.

At the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Day event held in 2024 under the theme “20 years of thrilling journey” and accompanied by the program message “Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City” (from April 4th to 7th), the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue Province participated in various promotional and marketing activities.

Two new publications, which are the volume 1 and the volume 2 of the book themed “Hue, the Magical Imperial City” under the project on "Establishing and developing Hue Bookcase" in 2024, are expected to be released on the occasion of the 3rd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2024. The event is organized by Thua Thien Hue General Library.

Since embarking on the journey with technology to preserve fresh flowers into everlasting blooms, the love for flowers of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lan (from Phong Thu, Phong Dien) has flourished even more. Day and night, with relentless dedication to exploration and research, this young lady has ingeniously created beautiful, unique everlasting flower products, from flower fields.

Hue is developing day by day, gradually worthy a city of heritage, a future center of specialized culture, education, tourism and healthcare of the country and the region” - These are the deep feelings of a distant friend about a Hue that is "forever beautiful and poetic".

On the morning of March 23, at Trinh Cong Son Park, Hue City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 3rd Hue City Traditional Boat Racing Competition, aiming to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Sports sector, and the 49th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue's liberation day. This is also one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2024.

On March 10, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University organized the Open Day program, attracting the participation of more than 700 12th grade students from high schools in Thua Thien Hue province.

On the afternoon of February 22, the 22nd Vietnam Poetry Day with the theme “Hues of Hue in spring” gala was organized by the Huong Giang Poetry Association and the Poetry Association of Hue land.

Besides the lively and beautifully decorated spring outing places, in recent years, one of the destinations on the days of Tet that many people have chosen to visit is the museum. Therefore, museums also open during Tet to serve the public’s demand of enjoying arts.

The 11th Huong Thuy traditional spring boat racing 2024 took place on the morning of February 18th (the 9th day of the first month in lunar year) at Loi Nong River (Thuy Phương Ward).
