On the morning of June 23rd, the Organizing Board of Hue-ICT Challenge 2024 awarded prizes for the creative information technology (IT) product competition to participated college and university students and reckoned up the Hue-ICT Challenge 2024.

The artifacts selected for identification are representative items typical of the Nguyen Dynasty's royalty and officials, such as the golden throne, palanquins, ceremonial shoes (things used in daily life and rituals), gold and jade branches (interior decorations), and the Xam Huong set (a recreational activity). This initiative marks the beginning of applying technology to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values preserved in Thua Thien Hue.

On the evening of May 17th, the provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (HUSTA) held the 8th annual ceremony to honor distinguished science and technology (S&T) intellectuals in 2024.

Within the framework of the implementation of the national-level independent project on “Studying and evaluating the current status of the avifauna, and proposing solutions for management and conservation of bird species in coastal lagoon area in Central Vietnam”, which is presided over by the Central Coast Natural History Museum, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and implemented by Dr. Ho Thang, the project leader, the research team has recorded the glossy ibis (Plegadis falcinellus) for the first time in the O Lau estuary of Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon.

Compared to their peers living in Hue City and the lowlands, children in the mountainous and remote Nam Dong and A Luoi districts are at a significant disadvantage in terms of access to information technology, books, and age-appropriate publications. However, thanks to the efforts of the education sector, local authorities, and schools, the reading spaces for children in these places are increasingly being supplemented with a variety of books and periodicals, helping them have more "good friends" during their breaks or extracurricular activities.

On April 15th, Gbike Co., Ltd. (Viet PM) in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) held a ceremony to hand over and put into operation 20 GCOO electric bikes at Gia Long Mausoleum. At the same time, technology transfer, and supplementary services such as the GCOO bike-sharing technology application, electric charging, and bike maintenance were also provided.

Day and night, with relentless dedication to exploration and research, this young lady has ingeniously created beautiful, unique everlasting flower products, from flower fields.

From researching the topic to participate in the Provincial Science-Technology Contest for High School Students, a group of students from Dang Tran Con Senior High School made tea bags from rose myrtle flowers, a unique product from the local raw material sources.

The Provincial Union of Scientific and Technical Associations, representing the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest organizing committe, has just released information on Thua Thien Hue’s participation and achievements at the 17th National Technical Innovation Competition (2022-2023) and the Science and Technology Innovation Awards of Vietnam in 2023.
