The principal of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted announced that Hue City has three 12th-grade students exempted from the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination and granted priority direct admission to universities and colleges. All three students are from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On May 7, the University of Law, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor’s degrees to 821 full-time students in the 46th cohort majoring in Law and Economic Law.

On May 6, the University of Sciences, Hue University, held an opening ceremony for the 2026 HUSC Student Volleyball Tournament in a lively and energetic atmosphere, drawing large numbers of students, lecturers, and staff members.

Nearly 200 high school students took part in an “outdoor lesson” right within a heritage space, where historical knowledge was accessed through games, challenges, and hands-on experience, making it more vivid and easier to remember.

On the morning of May 3, at the University of Sciences, a talk show themed “Hue Singing (Ca Hue) with Hue students” took place in a lively atmosphere, attracting a large number of students.

In the context of declining enrollment, career guidance and admissions counseling for specialized arts programs aimed at students are considered an important stepping stone to spark interest and identify future talent.

On April 29th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training organized the primary-level STEM Festival for the 2025-2026 school year, attracting a large number of students and teachers. ​

On the morning of April 25, Hue City Association of the Blind organized a soft-skills training workshop for students and young members.

From April 22 to 24, the Zhi Shan Foundation, in collaboration with the Social Work and Child Protection Center, and local authorities, organized scholarship award ceremonies for studious students overcoming difficulties across the city.
