On July 29th, the Vietnam Center for the Development of Maternal and Child Health, in coordination with Hue Central Hospital, held the opening ceremony for the first-level postgraduate neonatal medicine training course based on standards from the United Kingdom. This marks an important step forward in improving the quality of neonatal care in Vietnam, particularly in underserved regions.

On the afternoon of July 10th, the Department of Finance, in coordination with Luxembourg Project Management Board, Project Technical Support Office, and Mekong Herbals Joint Stock Company (Mekong Herbals), held a contract signing ceremony for the production and consumption of organic standard hibiscus flowers with households in Phong Thai and Phong Dien Wards.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long recently signed a decision approving the plan to implement the healthcare network development strategy for the 2021- 2030 period, prioritizing the development of six hospitals to meet international standards, including Hue Central Hospital (HCH). On the morning of October 11th, the Department of Tourism announced that Thua Thien Hue has added another resort to its list of 5-star accommodations, marking the 10th tourism establishment in the province to meet this standard.

The young workforce plays an important role in mastering modern techniques and improving the quality of treatment at Hue Central Hospital (BVTW Hue). They are also the successors on the journey of building and developing the hospital towards regional and global standards.

On June 14th, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, was awarded the Certification of European standard neonatal resuscitation training center by representatives of the European Resuscitation Council and Newborns Vietnam organization.
